Prior to shipping, ITekFED performs a series of software and physical tests to ensure the system is fully operational and meets the necessary standards. We are an ISO 9001- 2000 and TL9000 certified company.

Our engineering staff has extensive design experience with network equipment and systems. We can assist with initial rack design, create assembly and verification procedures, manage and prototype modifications, and ensure compliance with appropriate standards.

In addition to assembling and integrating components into the rack, we ensure correct installation and configuration, operating systems, middleware and application software on each of the system platforms.

Racks are shipped with full user documentation as required, including documentation of the hardware and software and a complete system configuration guide. Control of design and assembly documentation is rigorously governed to ensure timely updates as changes are implemented.

Life Cycle of a Work Order

We are committed to quality assurance.

Estimate Once our procurement team receives your request for proposal, you are assigned a Procurement Professional. Our Procurement Professional will meet with Senior Engineers and Installation Managers to review every detail of your RFP. Your RFP will then be submitted on time, competitively priced, completed properly, with relevant milestone dates, and all required supporting documents.
Engineer After we are awarded your contract, our Engineers start to prep your work order. Inventory is pulled and assigned, and anything requiring ordering is done so adhering to milestone dates. They are in daily communication with your Procurement Professional, allowing your PP to provide information accurately, without delay.
Deliver Hours before our Installation Team arrives, all equipment will be delivered and moved to the designated staging area. Our delivery team revisits the site often to remove all empty crates and boxes, which is sometimes more than once each day. Even during the installation, your site will remain clean.
Install Our Installation Team will document every step of the process via updates to our Live Gameboard with time stamps, notes, and photos. The average work order quantifies approximately 100 quality control points we hold ourselves accountable, including milestone dates. This allows us to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Test Testing is rigorous; it is what sets us apart from other companies. We thrive on completing work orders on time, and everything working properly when activated. Hardware, cabling, bandwidth, packet loss, power and more are tested, nothing is assumed to be working. Once testing and quality assurance has met our requirements, the work order is complete.
